Whether you just enjoy local riding or exploring further afield, getting the right type of jet ski insurance is important.
Not everybody’s insurance requirements are the same, so unlike some policies which charge you for cover whether you need it or not, at Visicover we believe you should only pay for the cover you want.
Our jet ski insurance, winner of the 2022 'Broker Innovation of the Year Award', is designed to be flexible, letting you tailor your cover to your precise wishes. Among the options available are:
| Vessel Loss or Damage | |
| Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement arising from physical loss or damage to your jet ski, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| Third Party Liability | |
| Covers sums, up to the cover limit selected, which you are legally liable to pay arising from ownership of the jet ski for death or injury to a third party, or damage to their property, subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Marina Benefits | |
| Protects your no claims discount entitlement, and avoids you having to pay an excess, if you make a claim for loss or damage to your jet ski sustained while it is moored / stored in a marina. * |
| Mooring Fees | |
| Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of mooring fees incurred while you are unable to use the jet ski as the result of either a serious accidental injury to yourself, or insured loss or damage to your jet ski, subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Marine Legal Protection | |
| Covers legal advisers’ costs up to a set value to help you pursue or defend a claim relating to the jet ski for uninsured loss recovery, personal injury pursuit, contract disputes or prosecution defence arising from your ownership or use of the jet ski. Subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Trailers and Trolleys | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your jet ski’s trailer or trolley for loss or damage arising from fire, theft, collision, or accident in use, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| NCD Protection | |
| Protects your no claims discount entitlement in the event that you make no more than one claim under the policy in a year. * |
| Personal Belongings | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your or your immediate family’s personal belongings which are lost or damaged on the jet ski, or in transit to and from the jet ski, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| Search, Rescue and Evacuation | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for search, rescue, and evacuation operations in relation to any person on board the jet ski with your permission. * |
| Cruising Area | |
| Select where you use your jet ski, from inland waterways to coastal stretches. |

About Visicover's Service
Visicover is a unique service that not only enables you to buy your jet ski insurance online but to also amend it online whenever you want. This applies to just about all aspects of your policy, including updating your values insured, changing most cover options, redefining your cruising areas, amending who may use your jet ski, selecting different payment methods or even changing the vessel type insured if you buy a different boat.
The ability to update your policy as your requirements change may reduce your premium by removing cover you no longer need. In addition to this flexibility we offer:
