Our sweep / scull insurance, winner of the 2022 'Broker Innovation of the Year Award', is designed to be flexible, letting you tailor your cover to your precise wishes. Among the options available are:
| Vessel Loss or Damage | |
| Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement arising from physical loss or damage to your sweep / scull, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| Third Party Liability | |
| Covers sums, up to the cover limit selected, which you are legally liable to pay arising from ownership of the sweep / scull for death or injury to a third party, or damage to their property, subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Personal Accident | |
| Pays a selected financial benefit to any person who dies, disappears or sustains a serious injury while they are embarking, on board or disembarking the sweep / scull with your permission, subject to certain specific exclusions and a maximum number of persons which you select. * |
| Medical Expenses | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, arising from the attendance of a qualified Medical Practitioner as a direct result of an accidental injury sustained on the sweep / scull, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| Personal Belongings | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your or your immediate family’s personal belongings which are lost or damaged on the sweep / scull, or in transit to and from the sweep / scull, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| Marine Legal Protection | |
| Covers legal advisers’ costs up to a set value to help you pursue or defend a claim relating to the sweep / scull for uninsured loss recovery, personal injury pursuit, contract disputes or prosecution defence arising from your ownership or use of the sweep / scull. Subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Trailers and Trolleys | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your sweep / scull’s trailer or trolley for loss or damage arising from fire, theft, collision, or accident in use, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. * |
| NCD Protection | |
| Protects your no claims discount entitlement in the event that you make no more than one claim under the policy in a year. * |
| Search, Rescue and Evacuation | |
| Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for search, rescue, and evacuation operations in relation to any person on board the sweep / scull with your permission, subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Racing Cover | |
| Add cover for use of your sweep / scull while racing. |
| Race Fee Cover | |
| Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, for lost entry fees for any races you have booked but are unable to participate in due to insured loss or damage to the sweep / scull, subject to certain specific exclusions. * |
| Cruising Area | |
| Select where you use your sweep / scull, from inland waterways to coastal stretches. |

About Visicover's Service
Visicover is a unique service that not only enables you to buy your sweep or scull insurance online but to also amend it online whenever you want.
